DEF tanks typically take up a lot of space, which is why Kenworth has added integrated steps to the tanks for our valued customers. The steps are mounted directly over the DEF tanks without requiring additional frame space. This frees up as much as16 inches of valuable frame space which is ideal for many truckoperators. Especially those who operate under constrained frame space layouts.

These additional steps will help with our drivers safety and on the job duties. Maneuverability of the T680 & T880 models are improved thanks to the shorter wheelbase. This willbenefit those who work in tight urban areas or job-sites.

This option is now available with Kenworth’s21-gallon, medium size aerodynamic DEF tanks. This is not available with full or partial chassis fairings.
