It can't brown or caramelise very well in large batches: This is due to the small surface area of the jug. If you are sauteeing meat for slow cooking for example, it's best to do so in small batches.

The Thermomix is definitely worth it for so many reasons. Definitely the way to get started. There are two of us here, but I would still have one even if it were just me. I think every family should have one.

Its durability ensures it will be a reliable companion in your kitchen for many years. The average lifespan is typically several years or more. In fact, I know many people that still have their TM31 machines they purchased from me around 15 years ago.

Sadly not, but you can cook similar meals using the slow-cooking setting, though of course, this will take considerably longer. You also can't bake or roast in the Thermomix TM6, so that's something to bear in mind too.
